All kidding aside, many of us aren’t FROM Ohio, so there’s information for you about how to handle Ohio Winters on the OSU Student Life and their Winter Tips page.
Be safe, and remember that OSU will always announce any closures on their Campus Status and Emergency Information Page.
If I ever need to cancel class due to weather (or illness) I send emails, post to Carmen pages, attempt to post here, and push those announcements out via facebook and twitter as well. Of course, in the event of power outage, that’s impossible.
Use your best judgment. If you don’t feel safe on the road, you know my policy: Stay off the roads and do extra credit for any missed attendance points! Since assignments are turned in online, that won’t prevent you from submitting work, of course.
