A panel – featuring two power exchange couples – will be featured in my HDFS 5440 
classroom on The Ohio State University Main Campus (Campbell Hall, Room 309) on Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 12:45-2:05pm.
Power Exchange relationships became the topic of public discourse in 2011 with the release of the books, and subsequent movies, ‘50 Shades of Grey” but, CONSENSUAL POWER EXCHANGE relationships follow a slightly different path: namely consensual.

Prior to their visit, students in this course read academic articles on non-traditional lifestyles and lovestyles as well as popular press offerings. Non-academic readings.
After a brief introduction by the panel, there will be an informative Question&Answer period for students.
If you are in another instructor’s 5440 or you’ve taken it with me previously… YES, you may come. But it’s standing room only… you may need to grab a square of carpet. If you wish to bring a friend? Same thing applies. Make certain to tell them that chairs aren’t part of the bargain.
Our panelists include:
Boi Kris and Sarah
A Leatherdyke and a Gorean walk into a bar… Boi Kris, with his powerhouse attitude and a passion for teaching and service, draws on his own experiences and his ongoing research into a variety of topics to entertain, educate and empower others. He also served as half of the International Power Exchange 2012.
Boi Kris brings an animated and approachable energy to the wide variety of BDSM lifestyle topics he shares with audiences all over the country. Sarah primarily channels her Caregiver and Advocate archetypes and is a steadfast advocate for the real-time application of Gorean lifestyle principles and helping people discover and nurture their authentic selves.
Sarah and Kris are happily married and engaged in a fluid power exchange dynamic which they define as a yin yang. They each have several decades of experience, and while that doesn’t necessarily make them experts, it does make for some awesome stories!
Ms. Brenda and arcane*
Ms. Brenda and arcane are a 24/7 power exchange couple.
She was born and raised in Florida, where she was a professional wrestler, and worked in retail management. She moved to Ohio in 1996, with her late husband, where they helped start a local munch and educational group.
arcane is a retired massage therapist. He relocated from Texas to Ohio, in 1997 to marry his late Mistress. She encouraged him to make floggers as a career, which keeps him busy vending and presenting at events all across the country.
They all met through the munch group and both couples became good friends. After losing their spouses, Ms. Brenda and arcane began dating and were married, complete with collaring ceremony in Feb 2013.
They have served as Great Lakes Master/ slave, and take pride in carrying on Leather traditions, including service to the community.
