Speaker: Arinda StormWeaver, Sensualist and Fetish Model (March 19, 2013 @ 12:45 pm)

Arinda StormWeaver will be visiting my HDFS 5440 classroom on The Ohio State University Main Campus (Campbell Hall, Room 0167) on March 19, 2013, from 12:45-2:00 pm.

This is an extra credit opportunity for students enrolled in my other classes this semester who are not also enrolled in 5440 this semester. If you are not currently enrolled in my HDFS 5440 class and you’d like to attend, be prepared to sit on the floor, the windowsill, or to stand!

Arinda had been a lifestyle Mistress for about ten years when she found that she had breast cancer. At 45, after both breasts were removed, she  started taking pictures of her hands and fingernails. A very simple question changed her life.  “Did you know there is a fetish for long fingernails?”
Arinda’s work involves several fetish arenas, including long fingernails, long toenails, long hair, smoking and foot fetishism. Her work as a sensualist has taken her overseas and she was featured in the art book Claws for Alarm by Tolu Solanke. Arinda StormWeaver maintains a no-nudity policy on her part and she discovered that the nail fetish community made it very easy for her to become well-known without taking her clothes off.
